Fall OPEN REGISTRATION
DANCE
Ballet Folklorico and Flamenco gives students the opportunity to perform before live audiences and promotes the beauty and passion our Hispanic Culture Traditions. Our dance programs include the dances from all regions of Mexico and Spain. Students learn the history of each dance and choreography. Beginners - (ages 7 - 9), Intermediate (ages 10-13) and Advanced (ages 14-18).
MUSIC
Mariachi, students learn Latin sounds, upbeat tempos, instrumentation, harmony, moving of the fingers team work, "gritos", voice - singing and the history behind every song. The instructors teach with sheet music and provide specific instruction per instrument. It is also intended to help students gain motivation and self esteem to perform in front of thousands of people. Mariachi group – Grades 5 to 12.

"Dia de Los Muertos"
HCCMidland in collaboration with Simon Properties, is excited to host the annual Día de los Muertos Celebration at Midland Park Mall!
The Day of the Dead (el Día de los Muertos), is a Mexican holiday where families welcome back the souls of their deceased relatives for a brief reunion that includes food, drink and celebration. The annual rite features trees of life, skeletons, altars and other trappings of death, but the ancient holiday celebrates life in its embrace of death.
If your organization would like to participate in this vibrant cultural event by decorating a "Tree of Lives" (Árbol de Vidas) or setting up an Altar. Please note, we have limited undecorated trees available, so we encourage you to submit your registration as soon as possible.
Folklorico and Flamenco dance performances, and the lively sounds of Mariachi music.
