OPEN REGISTRATION
DANCE
Ballet Folklorico and Flamenco gives students the opportunity to perform before live audiences and promotes the beauty and passion our Hispanic Culture Traditions. Our dance programs include the dances from all regions of Mexico and Spain. Students learn the history of each dance and choreography. Beginners - (ages 5 - 9), Intermediate (ages 9-13) and Advanced (ages 13-18).
MUSIC
Mariachi, students learn Latin sounds, upbeat tempos, instrumentation, harmony, moving of the fingers team work, "gritos", voice - singing and the history behind every song. The instructors teach with sheet music and provide specific instruction per instrument. It is also intended to help students gain motivation and self esteem to perform in front of thousands of people. Mariachi group – Grades 5 to 12.

Join us for the Cinco de Mayo Fiesta!
We will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo at Al G. Langford Chaparral Center. We are inviting Elementary grades and Junior Highs from the MISD and also private institutions to attend.
Come see historical display of what occurred on May 5, 1862, and there will be Mariachi music, Folklorico, Mariachis and Charros. Non-profit partners from the community will be here providing the games and activities for students!

Diez y Seis Parade & El Grito
HCCMidland will be celebrating its traditional Diez y Seis Parade on the morning of Saturday, September 12, 2026. The celebrations will begin with our Parade and will continue with El Grito, a vibrant Mexican Independence Commemoration and Celebration, on the evening of the same day!
